Untouchables, The

Untouchables, TheThe untouchables of India and other countries, why did they suffer so much but they are like ordinary citizens?

I touched my reading on the "untouchables" of India and other places. I wandered why people are treated in such a manner as if they were not full citizens of a country. Governments can stop this way of treating people?

The caste system is banned by the Indian government infact the British gov't itself. But, the truth is that it should pass from our minds. The Govt has reserved seats for backward castes in all schools in India, but now the public wants that to be removed from the ACC unreasonable. But cos thats the truth is that if the reservation is withdrawn, they do not go out of their houses to go to cos higher education, discrimination against women for centuries have created an inferiority complex in the minds of these people. They were not allowed to study in the past. The rich and educated people are the upper castes. The names that we Indians are infact the name plate of our caste that commands respect. These people are never going to happen if the system works this way. It looks like a normal social hierarchy for a foreigner, but the truth is its caste hierarchy even in the higher castes are past. The businessmen, government officials, movie stars and politicians in the class of India. The work is even lower caste castes. Many are converted to Christianity to escape it, but they are assigned to a church with a bishop differernt distinct. lower castes are generally dark and the little people (not meant ofense) and different characteristics so it is easier for us to identify (which is the truth) The politicians, in spite of all these laws are their mind to vote .. Only a miracle could change our society.

The caste system was banned for years, but traditions die hard social, especially in cultures as ancient and rooted in the tradition of India. The government has made efforts to improve the plight of the untouchables, or Harijans, but their lives are still limited in Indian society.

Governments treat them the same way that society does. It's their culture and how it works. Untouchables are born in this line and that is where they remain for the rest of their lives. Other citizens will not even look at them, they are considered unworthy. And this is just like that.
