What is the origin of the term "scrub with a life of sport", please? My friend mentioned this phrase, I had not heard before. I googled, asked Google to many different ways .... origin, etc. etc. sense, Googled it on its own ... There are many references to it, many people who have used the term in their blog, but absolutely no reference to what it means.
If anyone can help I would be very grateful if you please! :-D
Thank you :-)
It is a term used in an ironic sense of humor or light someone who perhaps never take exercise, or is very reluctant to make such a so.Referring a person might say, "the closest he These physical exertion is a rapid friction down with a sporting life. "(Sporting life be referred to a published sports magazine)
Thank you for this ... I was not there to answer or vote etc. :-)
You know that makes sense for me of course, but it has been used in a completely different context when I heard and everyone was using it in different ways, so I was wondering if there was another that it could have.
