The King Of Marvin Gardens

The King Of Marvin GardensAbbey Road: Song by Song
Abbey Road is the last album the Beatles recorded. There is some confusion on this piece of info because Let It Be was released in 1970 and Abbey Road was released in 1969. But whether it had actually been recorded, it had been shelved because of the band being unhappy with it. It took Abbey Road has already been recorded and released the group hired Phil Spector "save" Let It Be with his production work.

Abbey Road was a huge critical and commercial success. It remains one of the albums the Beatles most popular to date.

Abbey Road has also been acclaimed by critics. For example, it was ranked # 14 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of 500 greatest albums of all time. And he is currently ranked as the 2nd best album of all time by the website users rate your music.

Track by track:

# 1 "Come Together"

This is one of the most popular songs on the album. Complete with the signature of John Lennon's voice and bizarre lyrics, great George Harrison lead guitar riffs, and a lower part of Paul McCartney swamp that really puts the song on the board.

This is one of the Beatles coolest sounding songs, but somehow - it's one of their songs that has been ruined most versions of cover. In fact, I have never heard a cover of "Come Together" which was not terrible.

A little disturbing info on "Come Together" is that John Lennon is saying "kill me" during the breaks little music between the chorus and verse. That lyric always gets to me a little light out of John Lennon in 1980.

2. "Something"

"Something" is another of the most popular songs on the album. It was written and sung by George Harrison and is one of his signature songs.

Frank Sinatra once famously commented that "something" was his favorite Lennon-McCartney song. I do not know if it was an insult to Lennon-McCartney or if Sinatra did not really know the song was written by George Harrison and Lennon & McCartney not.

3. "Maxwell's Silver Hammer"

A slightly disturbing tale of a child serial killer, "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" is one of the Beatles song has so many detractors and it's supporters. Among his critics was apparently John Lennon would have despised the song (which was written and sung by Paul McCartney.)

The song is one of the first to feature the Moog synthesizer.

4. "Oh Darling"

While Lennon McCartney hated "Maxwell Silver Hammer", he loved his "Oh Darling". In fact, he was so in love with the song he wanted to sing lead on it.

5. "Octopus's Garden"

Ringo sings lead on it. He also wrote the song (with help from George Harrison Ringo Starr is well credited as the only songwriter.) It's basically a rewrite of "Yellow Submarine" by the Beatles, who recorded 3 years earlier .

6. "I Want You (She's So Heavy)"

This epic, mostly instrumental, finishing off a side track at Abbey Road in style with big thing is incredible accumulation of white noise that blows my mind whenever I hear it.

It includes some really innovative work of the Beatles most interesting musically.

7. "Here Comes The Sun"

This is another classic George Harrison, who is the follow up perfect "I Want You" on CD / iTunes / iPod format ideal for open-side, two in the old vinyl LP format. The songs like "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" features the Moog synthesizer.

8. "Because"

This beautiful song has some of the most beautiful harmonies of the Beatles. singing Lennon, McCartney, Harrison and three were followed to make them sound like 9 votes.

The chords of the song were inspired by Ludwig van Beethoven piece for classical piano.
