How a gunman shouting opponents? I recently saw several westerns, and my father said something about spurs on the boots of a drawer or a bell on his saddle as well as a shooter to shout challengers. If he wanted to get in a fight, he left his spurs on, or let the phone rang. If he did not want trouble, he silenced them. Could someone help me?
Not in the category of horse racing.
MOST of the time, they would say "HEY YOU YELLOW BELLY-SAP-SUCKER LET'S GO
OUT SIDE and make DAMN THANG. CONSUMERS OUT FOR YOU there when you here the word 86 ... it means you are cut off from drinking, but in the Wild Wild West, it meant you could not handle ANYTHING strong, if YOU have been drinking liquor that was strong evidence that 86.
To be totally honest with you, showdowns are about something Hollywood. Most rounds were fired from an ambush, or by pulling the person in the back.
