Sword In The Stone, The

In my story I want Golgon, the fallen god, to have a powerful sword called Mărgullem Stone (Death Star). I just want to know if the concept of a sword of stone has never been used before. And before people start to tell me that sword of stone would break easily, it has been carved into a rock in evaln (equivalent to the skies in my fantasy world), and was almost invincible by the sages old when they were convinced that Golgon fought to bring peace. Anyway, it is confusing if you do not know the background, it would be like trying to explain Greek mythology abroad .. lol I just want to know if the thing sword stone has been used before.

Not that I could find, but people really used to do ... not as strong as yours though, lol.
It looks like I have heard of a book and a sword in stone, but this does not mean you can not use it because yours is unique with its own legend and you are not copying. Looks like you have a history of being back. Good luck!
