movies are better than big budget blockbusters

... Oh, they were much better back in the good old days of the late 70s and early to mid-80s, small independent production companies were almost infinite and consistantly punching these films left and right, and they have been more daring, and get away with a lot more, since most of the time, they managed to fly under the radar of the MPAA ratings board miserable. The general consensus of the MPAA at the time, was thought they would actually see these movies, anyway (... oh, how they were blind !!!); Furthermore, some of filmmakers actually had the balls to release gutsy and distribute the films themselves, unrated, so they can achieve their true "vision" there, while being unable to advertise in newspapers and television ads (for example, "Dawn of the Dead" Zombie "Day of the Dead," "Pieces," "The Mutilator", etc.) ...

Unfortunately, those days are long gone, especially after the studios not eaten and absorbed the smaller, and the new age of home video has become the arena for independent filmmakers to release their "visions", a shame, because it is actually something good productions, which were regelated directly to home video, who played on the big screen so much better than some of the great alluvial studio we, as audience, are forced to digest, and the most cases, regirgitate ...
