Sordid Lives

Sordid LivesSport Fair, a sordid sport

Everyone knows that throwing a tantrum after losing a game is bad behavior. People say you're a bad loser, bad mood, or more often, a bad player. One may ask, why? Seriously, you just lose a game, if you were a really good sport, you would have earned the right?

Yes, of course, everything has been said and done, "sport teaches discipline" or the patience, perseverance, acceptance, self esteem, or a hundred dozen other positive virtues. But if this were really the case, should not all our athletes are canonized? Is Tiger Woods does not know how to swear? Is that David Beckham will never, ever hurt? Is Wayne Gretzky beyond bad manners? The point of the matter is, no matter how you play the game, or how you've mastered a sport, can we really ever just a sport?

Evolution

Realistically, the human psyche is designed to reject the feelings of defeat. We are genetically engineered to want to do better. Losing triggers negative reactions from our minds, we learn, training us, we hate to lose changes. In fact, this factor, combined with our natural level of self-esteem, or pride that others can make, creates an intolerance to lose. Thus we, humans, proposes to become residents in cave penthouse suite.

Somewhere, thousands of years ago, primitive man decided he would not take a beating from some gigantic ever. Thus was born the hunt, and man first sport was involved in the survival, or if we assume, provided there is at present no evidence that the original form of Texas Hold ' em Poker has been found.

A look back at this point, it is not surprising if we want to assure our lungs the next time we land on the danger of water on the eighth hole. It is simply our genes tell us that this poor performance is an acceptable standard. That and the fact that it's really frustrating to buy as many golf balls replacement.

Let the steam escape

It is inevitable that when playing competitive sport, someone has to lose, so why can not we all just be really fair and let the belt losing its frustrations? When we win, we come to know the glory and joy in all its splendor absolute. Who are we to deny our opponents the right and opportunity to sulk, complain and make excuses for losing the match? Have not we all deserve some time to lick our wounds? As much as people might say that winning is not everything, it feels even better to win.

Thus we come to the conclusion that we live in a world that does not tolerate losing and feeling sorry for losing. Those who lose should always smile and applaud the winner. Indeed, creating the label of "bad loser", we give anyone the right to dignity to express a sense of defeat at an emotional loss.

He even calls

Is it really so bad? No, this is not the case. No amount of embarrassment, shame or incompetence caused by the loss of a game played enough or the game would never approached the amount of pleasure that we can get himself into playing. Moreover, the less time we spend feeling sorry for losing, the sooner we can begin to play another round. GP
