ScreamersIbanez TS808 Tube Screamer Review

I wanted to do a review of my favorite overdrive pedals, the Ibanez TS808 Tube Screamer . This pedal has been widely used by a variety of artists named Big - Stevie Ray Vaughn was one of the notable users of its time. Of course, they have modded versions of this pedal that gives them slightly different features such as more gain. It is difficult to examine the pedals, overdrive pedals in particular, because sound is subjective and everyone has their own opinion of what "good" looks like. I'll give you my perspective on this classic overdrive pedal and we hope you will agree with my opinion. If you do, please chime in and add information to the comments section - and if you disagree, please feel free to let me know why. (Note that in this review I will discuss the reissue of this pedal - not the original Tube Screamer.)

The Ibanez TS808 Tube Screamer pedal is easy to use, up to your level, and distortion knobs - All rights on the front of the pedal. The level knob is a "set and forget" button which is simply the volume of effect size pickup for your guitar. The tone knob, as the tone knob on most effects pedals, cuts or boosts the treble in the signal overdrive button and dials in the amount of distortion that will be applied to the guitar. Like most distortion pedals and overdrive, it is very easy to use and simple to compose your great. Make sure you play with the tone and overdrive knobs - you can dramatically change the sound by simply turning a knob.

The TS808 is one of the best overdrives here today for the price. If you are looking for a ballsy, tube-like sound when the pedal is for you. This pedal can give you a crunchy overdrive piece that is great for rhythm or you can call smooth, creamy tone to a bluesy solo Nice. This pedal is especially good if you combine it with your amps distortion. Personally, I like to use this pedal as something a little more when I play my solos. It gives me a little extra gain and maintain. It does color your tone a bit - but this is not a boost pedal, then you should expect too much.

The Tube Screamer is built like a tank. I have no problem with dropping the spirit of a high place on a concrete floor. You can either power adapter 9-volt battery or 9-volt standard. I advise you to always use the AC adapter to any pedal!

I think it's a great pedal for someone of his own initiative or if you are looking for more of your amps distortion. You can get a very warm tone of this pedal - if you dial it correctly. You can get a nice crunch sound of this pedal. In addition, you can get a good maintenance if you add this pedal on top of your amps distortion. There are, of course, upscale - Best Sound - overdrive pedals. (Or, if you can find a vintage TS808 Tube Screamers is even better!) For the money, and even just in general, the Tube Screamer is an excellent pedal. Many people will recommend the cheaper version of this pedal the TS9. However, I do. It does not even compare to the TS808, and I think you would be happy going with the TS808. I hope you found the Ibanez Tube Screamer TS808 review helpful!
