Punk VacationTop Ten Things to do in London

London is a vibrant city, full of things to do, whatever your age or your budget. Everyone knows the site already - Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament - but what if you want more of a sense of the culture of the city? Here are some tips:

Pop in the surreal and beautiful Frued for a cocktail. The service is fast and friendly and some have raved that this place serves the best cocktails this side of the pond! Located in the trendy Shaftesbury Avenue, this is a place not to be missed.

Do not be shy gun! Pop into the pub super-trendy gastro, gun, because honestly, this trip to London would be complete without eating in a traditional British pub? Loved by log fires in winter and summer actual Riverside Terrace, the Gun offers generous portions, pub grub, fine dining and a friendly service. And with more than two choices of wines by the glass dozen, you'll be spoiled for choice.

Not the end of the world ... but if you do not stop at the super-trendy club in the end, you may regret. Since its opening in 1995, the club has grown to become one of the most popular in London promoting his own label and hosting world famous DJs. On Saturday evening, the club is packed.

A little retail therapy never hurt anyone! And no trip to London would be complete without heading to Oxford Street. One of the busiest streets of London, this street is littered with bars, restauarants, shops and clothing stores and record shops and department stores. In other words: what more could you want?

The London Eye can give you a relaxing break and a view overlooking the city - all in 30 minutes! On a clear day you can see for miles and the view is breathtaking.

Did you know that if the ravens leave the Tower of London, the Crown will be lost? Well, maybe not, but there is no sense in Taking Chances! If you are peering over time, see if you can identify Ravenmaster his rounds and take a look at the fabulous jewels in the crown. A perfect place for history lovers and fashionistas alike!

The Tate Modern is worth a visit even if you're not big on art. To begin, select your passage on the Millennium Bridge and look up the imposing building in front of you. Housed in the former Bankside Power Station on the banks of the Thames, the gallery presents major works by Matisse and Picasso as well as contemporary works, exhibitions and installations.

Take a trip to Camden Market, for something completely different. It's far from the animation, yet civilized worlds of Oxford Street or Covent Garden, Camden Market is chock-a block with the Goths, punks, fashion and role players - not to mention curious tourists. A friendly place, do not be discouraged by the amount of piercings and tattoos on display, but take a chance to soak up the alternative culture, perhaps dipping into non-traditional fashion and pick up some goodies before returning normality.

The Museum of Science - not just for nerds! Frankly, this museum is unique. See, feel and interact with the major scientific advances of the last 300 years in 40 galleries and 2000 coins. If everything becomes a little too much, why not travel in the future in the Wellcome Wing, take a trip to the IMAX theater stage or virtual reality? Best of all, admission is free!

Finally, sit down for a sandwich at Trafalgar Square. Previously, famous for its pigeon population and its iconic architecture, the pigeons have now passed, so you can eat in peace. Why not take a seat on a lion and watch the world go by, or simply admire Nelson's Column? Hence, it is within walking distance of the National Gallery, if the weather takes a turn for the worse.
