Since the drugs and crime often go hand in hand, one of the goals of the 26th edition of National Night Out is to heighten awareness of drug prevention. There were more booths eg Glendale, North Hollywood and Los Angeles, and the distribution of more than a thousand books of the Foundation for a world without drugs. And these books begin to well known, for example the police. A cop said: "We use these books all the time. They are really great! "
A girl in Nashville, Tennessee, really the idea. Echoing some of the truth about drugs books, "she said," I'll start reading tonight! " Some of his friends came and asked: "Why are you doing this? You do not even take drugs. "She replied:" That does not mean that I can not find information!
With each year an estimated 322 billion circulating in the drug industry, the United Nations describes the drug crisis as a problem more serious than war, famine and human trafficking in terms violence and loss of human life. That is why the churches of Scientology have been the fight against drugs for more than 25 years. By giving young people the facts about the dangers of drugs, they are put in a position where they can make an informed decision to say "No" to drugs.
L. Ron Hubbard, founder of the religion of Scientology, said: "Save the child, you save the nation." Scientologists have taken this to heart and in partnership with associations, police and governments to prevent children from falling into the trap of drugs.
