Nominated for 5 Golden Globes and seven Oscars, including Best Film of the Year, Million Dollar Baby opened to widespread critical and audience opinion excellent. Clint Eastwood, whose career spans multiple decades in Hollywood, creates perhaps his greatest film to date, and co-stars Morgan Freeman (Shawshank Redemption) and Hilary Swank (Boys Do not Cry) light up the display with representations of their character and unique charisma skill. Combining all the inspiration of Rocky with all the drama of a Greek tragedy, Million Dollar Baby is well deserved its Best Picture victory (despite the protests of many competitors administration who think Eastwood won based on nostalgia of his career and his personal kindness announced) ...

Million Dollar Baby focuses on tough skin boxing manager Frankie Dunn (Clint Eastwood), owns a gym local training has long been separated from his daughter alone and appears to have only one friend of note - Eddie " Scrap-Iron "Dupras (Morgan Freeman). Eddie lives and manages the gym, and he was one of Frankie's fighters. With Big Willie Little (Mike Colter, who has appeared in ER) under management Frankie welcomes the gym daily training of a pretender to legitimate heavyweight title. But Frankie reluctance to move Big Willie along invited him to move to a less conservative manager, and Frankie has to watch his years of hard work pay for someone else. Meanwhile, 30-something Maggie Fitzgerald (Hilary Swank) has raised the money and the nickels needed to train at the gym on a daily basis. Despite advice from Frankie to stop making fun of herself, she borrows equipment from Eddie and works until all hours of the night ...

With Big Willie out of the picture, Frankie finally confronts Maggie and agrees to train her. Over time, the two develop a close relationship like a father / daughter. Maggie rises in the ranks of female circuit until she reaches the title fight where a cheap Sucker Punch led to tragic consequences ... With emotional depth and colorful characters, Million Dollar Baby is one of the most controversial issues of modern society in the forefront to gain insight into large-and-personal conflict and struggle experienced by victims of Injuries and their families. Hilary Swank Oscar winning performance is on full screen, and Morgan Freeman is his usual mesmerizing presence ...

Ultimately, Million Dollar Baby has beaten a number of excellent films in order to claim the Oscar for best picture - "Finding Neverland, Ray, Sideways and The Aviator (which prompted director Martin Scorsese to flee delivery prices in anger). A case could be made to each of these films very well, but needless to say, victory Million Dollar Baby is very indicative of the enduring value of the film. Each of the main characters appear as friendly relations as credible, and the script as a source of inspiration and stirring. Million Dollar Baby is one of those rare films that stays in your head for hours after you've left the theater. Its purpose is serious fodder for debate, and few viewers will fail to develop a strong emotional connection to Eastwood, Hilary Swank and Freeman as they come to life on the big screen. Quite simply, Million Dollar Baby is one of the best films of the decade and you will not want to miss ...
