Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior

If you like action movies, then you'll love "The Road Warrior", starring Mel Gibson, back in his role as "Max", "Mad Max". Although this movie was made several years after the original, and requires no prior knowledge of what happened to Max before the film is indeed a great continuation of the same character in the same world. Taking place after any calamity future that has forever changed the face of civilization is a film not to be missed.

The film begins where the previous course, "Mad Max", was arrested. We have our heroes only on wasteland to fend for himself in a world without law and where only the strong survive. Of course, there is a brief description of what happened to him there, the way the world has come where it is. One of the many wonderful elements of this film is that it is enough. Knowledge of the previous video is not a prerequisite for enjoying this wonderful story.

We quickly see that Max spends most of his time looking for food and fuel. Then he came across something strange in the desert. It is a collection of people in a small walled city in the middle of the wasteland. They are heavily fortified, with a huge wall around their city, and many ingenious forms of defense. For they have something valuable to defend. A tanker truck of gasoline is enormous in their possession.

Of course, it does not take long for the cowards bandits surround the city, and demand for gasoline. They tell them that if they hand over the goods, then their city will not be destroyed. The inhabitants of this town seem to be between the hammer and the anvil. They have a plan to make their fuel, and escape to an area that is safe, and free of bandits and outlaws. A place where they can start new and build a new society. The problem is they have no means of transport truck gas tank. Max was recently admitted to their city, has a solution.

Only a few days ago, Max has seen a suitable vehicle to transport their truck to the promised land. The only problem is how the car, bring it back to the walled city, and get the truck's gas there without getting killed by the bandits. Luckily, Max has a plan. With his new friend who happens to have an ultra-light, they sneak out of town, bringing the vehicle and transport the truck to safety.

And here is the crux of the film. The conflict between the townspeople, who are, after a life safe and free from death, and the bandits who want to take any of them. Fortunately, the people of the city have a plan that even Max does not know. And what makes all the difference. This film was so popular that it has caused many to go out and see the original, which otherwise do not know if it's there. It is a must if you have not seen, and is filled with memorable scenes and quotes, so you can consider it as an addition to your video library.
