Marketplace | Love Me If You Dare LG Dare Smartphone Review I recently updated my Razr flip phone for a smartphone LG Dare. I, like most people heart the idea of having a smartphone. It seemed cool, easy to read, type and the text and had access to my e-mail and any other online applications. It can be viewed horizontally or vertically and I just touch the screen and edit the pages, the images become more or less. Sure, I fell for all the bells and whistles. I'll try to be impartial in writing this review, but you're already aware of my excitement.
Firstly, I strongly suggest you read the user guide. I understand that in this new technological world, we are inundated with user guides and installation booklets, etc. Personally, I usually like trial and error. I like to get the right to be on my own, then read what I have missed. This time, however, I was a bit lost in the implementation of the article and need to refer to the guide immediately. You can be a bit faster than me, or have ever used a smartphone, so use your own discretion and not be embarrassed if the guide opens the door. For the establishment, you must first unlock the screen every time you use it. At first it seemed quite frustrated, but it is true, it makes sense because it is a touch screen and can be enabled in your hand, pocket, bag, etc. After about a week and a half He was using an automatic step up the phone and forgot all that frustration. Not so with the touchscreen. I have sensitive fingers with nails filed substantially. I have that would be fine if you use the keyboard to send SMS. Not at all. It's a bit temperamental and I still have to remove and attach the QWERTY keyboard every time. I prefer the horizontal keyboard because it is larger. I finally found the touchpad sensitivity settings, which will save much time if you set up right at the beginning.
I know myself and I wanted all the bells and whistles. I bought the upgrade SD card and adapter because I do not want visual limitations for me or people I send pictures and video. It is not that much stress and it will save you a lot and frustration. Most of you already know what the SD card is, but for those of you who do not, you can transfer pictures and videos on your computer and vice versa. The SD card slot on the LG Dare is really thin. Even with my small fingers, I find it difficult, so I suggest a pair of tweezers or something similar to insert and output. Otherwise, the slot is typical that you find in digital and analog phones. You push until it clicks to stay and push until it clicks to release. The images are really fantastic. I loved playing with image and video features, I'm still playing actually. Once again use the manual for ideas.
The browser has been great. This is not my computer screen so big it takes a little time to get used to, but it is certainly easy to use. I created my account e-mail to Dare, and my facebook. I suggest not to add the warning, however, if you want a smartphone beeps constantly. I'm not. In addition, scrolling on the smartphone is a bit tricky at first. Tapping opens objects and scrolls through them to touch. Time and practice you train fairly quickly, but be patient.
Overall, I like the new LG Dare. It's really a step up from my Razr, and fun to use. It is lightweight and ergonomic design for easy use. I guess this is just the beginning for LG's smartphone line. I can not imagine what will be next, but I know I'll love it! Posted on May 23, 2010.
