Some units of the Army National Guard were given illegal and unconstitutional orders to go door to door confiscating legally owned firearms from law-abiding gun owners! Are soldier completely oblivious to the fourth principle of Nuremberg, which he believes is still a crime to carry out an order that is known to be illegal, and it is a requirement of absolute moral and legal to refuse and disobey those orders. This is reinforced by the Supreme Court in cases such as Marbury v. Madison states that all laws contrary to the Constitution are null. Everyone in the military oath to defend the Constitution first.
In addition, it took a federal court to get involved and said it is illegal to disarm law-abiding citizens and ordered the disarming of citizens to stop as soon as possible.
Question: 1. For military personnel, would you execute this illegal order or would you ask?
2. The civilians do you think and what would you do if you were law abiding and a soldier came to your door to take your guns away from you?
3. Do you think the governor and the senior military ordered that should be prosecuted for violating it allegiance to the constitution and breaking the Marbury v. Madison decision, which is a prosecutable offense?

I completely disagree with them to take the legal owners of weapons, but when I was there was a complete @ # $% storm of shit going on and hard to decifive was innocent and wanted to have shooting with the National Guard.
The circumstances were very different in this case everything goes to a random neigborhood in the U.S. and asking firearms by legal owners. There were several shots were fired by the troops of the Army of the United States and victims of Katrina, and guess what, the U.S. military has won every time (newsflash).

I own dozens of guns, WHY? because I can and I love weapons and people burn their hands on my gun barrels to try to take it away from me that I would be shooting until the end. I'll die before I give up my gun.

Overall, competition is BS To do this, owners of legal firearms, but it was a complete disaster on arrival there and after a few shots with civilians, no been messing around and asking for papers in these areas. For my part, would not realize this as a soldier, if I had proof of these people were legal gun owners, but if I wasn't for sure, I take it until I discovered that they are legal to possess a firearm, and any person with common sense to ensure an area of agreement. I am sure that your name suggests you are a Vet OIF, you would understand.
I agree with your position (100%), and I think it was BS, but you can see why, in this case, it happened.

Scubasniper does not seem to know what a liberal is ... Conservatives and libertarians ALWAYS demand rights and freedoms of the person with less government, including military ... in some way with Fox News and the asymmetrical lines established, some military personnel think they don 't part of the government. WHAT! The soldiers feel quite uncomforable taking guns away from New Orleans residents!

I wonder why they do not feel the same taking weapons away from the Afghans and Iraqis!
