A question on many movie remakes too? I understand remakes of horror and some action movies like 'Halloween' 'The Fog' Friday The 13th "My Bloody Valentine" Planet of the Apes "I Am Legend", etc.
And it's cool old classics like "creature of M. The Black Lagoon" Jekyll and Mr Hyde "and" The Wolfman "is remade 50 + years after the original.
But why films like 'Footloose' Fame 'and really nobody really cares about movies remade? In Hollywood completely dry of ideas?
I think they should stop repeat period films.

no more originality in your right, but some movies still make money like Star Trek, Batman, Superman, etc.

there were 55 films being remade in some. can you believe it?!? I think the movies were so expensive, Hollywood has turned into a city of cowards. they are not willing to explore new talent at all. even the talent they have, they end up cluttering with stupid remakes rather than letting explore something new. Perhaps they need to return to the days when they released a cheapo movies a week - usually you they sucked, but every once in awhile, you have something really interesting.
