Dazed And Confused

Dazed And ConfusedPeople 70s. Teenager was really social life as fun as movies like Dazed and Confused to believe?

I ask this because I always thought it would be cool to grow in that time. A time when if you want to talk to friends, you actually had to spend time with them. Computers and video games are not available if you really had to do things.

I do not know why the political section was proposed class.

Hey I love the 70s, it was cool growing up without Obama.

The 80s were a million billion times better.

Vietnam Post and major recessions. not a happy time, unless you were stoned and going to nightclubs every night.

There were lots of drugs consumed both on campus and off, and other aspects of boys and girls become men and women together.

Movies overdramatize the negative aspects and to submit to the intelligence of teenagers for their fan base ever!

Yes. I am the same age. best music ever!

No, I would not say that.

Everyone had sex with everyone, there were no AIDS, the grass was not so strong, genetics was not yet invented, gas was about $ 1 gallon drunk to travel were possible, such as driving in Wisconsin Milwaukee and high alcohol beer from the police (pigs) were as stupid as they are today

I've never seen "Dazed and Confused", but the 70 was what it was for us. I think "Teen Issues" never really changed all that much a decade decade. Some adolescents talked for hours on the phone, so not much different from text messaging and others. I was like a lonely time, I did not really do much socializing as I used to dream.

Two important differences, though ... at my high school, he has been a smoker for children who have smoked .. and there was an allowance of MTCT for children who have smoked. Then, of course, many young weeds snuck cigarettes in the area. A fact (the weed, sneaking, that is) that I learned recently, during my high school meeting 30 of the year.

Secondly, my sister and I were recently discussed. In the 70s, it was cool to be bad .. in that, most movies that teenagers involved (especially adolescent girls) were on pregnant teenagers, teens, alcoholics Juvie adolescents, adolescents in difficulty. I remember thinking that life would be difficult to navigate without falling into the drug culture or in prison wnding inadvertently. Television portrays the cool kids as class clown has not tried very hard (Welcome Back, Cotter) ... or adolescents who have been constantly in trouble of some sort (One Day At A Time). Teens who only managed to stay out of trouble seemed The Brady Bunch and The Waltons.

As the '80s rolled around, the media have begun portrait "cool" that intelligent children and children who like school n being. And the influence, I think, worked. As a teenager, it was Dungar and make Cees and Dees was not much. Over the past 20 years, I taught school, I noticed that the children wanted to be in school and loved learning. Except for the first year I taught high school .. with SMS and cellphones, it was very difficult to stop fraud.

** EDIT **
In addition, drugs and pot-smokers were, for some reason, no longer allowed at the time. My brother was a drug addict (not dependent) and it took me to my first rock concert. When the doors opened, a large cloud of marijuana is down on us ... I was surprised to see the police there, but do not stop everyone.

** EDIT **
I'll watch the film and can be verified. Ok, I looked on imdb ... I was not part of the drug culture .. then I do not know this movie. I mean, in May 1976, the entire country was on the verge of the great celebration of the bicentennial ... I did not spend my days stoned, so the film can not be nostalgic for me.
