Day At The Races, A

Day At The Races, AA Day at the Races

The pace and excitement of the race track ....

I wanted to know once and for all what separates the winners from losers at the race track?

When you ask Avid horse bettors, "What should I choose a winner here on the runway?" Most responded "skills". When you ask, "What you finally throw your money?" Most responses, "guts".

If you go to the beach on any given day you can see hordes of people enjoying a day at the races, Paris and make her scream with all their heart in the hope that their pick will be the first line of arrival.

If you look closely you will see a different kind of better, a handicapper. A handicapper is distinguished in the crowd track. The handicapper has taken the track ready to win. Between races, you will not see raising them to eat or drink. Their faces are hidden deeply in the best horse in the Bible, "Daily Racing Form." A real horse handicapper derive much of their powers to pick winners of the study "Daily Racing Form."

The Daily Racing Form is the only daily publication is strictly adapted to the horse race. The Daily Racing Form has been around since 1894. Its headquarters is in Chicago, Illinois. The first printed publication on November 17.1894 was only four pages. It has been and remains today the number one "America's Turf Authority" publication. Over 112 years later, the Daily Racing Form has become a complex newspaper that publishes all the statistics needed for handicap racing throughout the United States, as well as insightful editorials on the racing world. The newspaper publishes daily except Christmas Day.

Where several polling stations handicappers on this kind of race, they prefer to bet on, all agree: "race issues."

Stakes races occur every year as the Kentucky Derby or Belmont Stakes. These races carry large purses, so they end up attracting the cream of the crop in horses, jockeys and trainers. As a handicapper said: "There are fewer surprises ... the talent is there ... ripe for the picking.

Other forms of racing include races to claim. claiming races are the most common types of races at the local racetrack. In a claiming race, all horses on the domain is for sale. An award is pre-determined by the owner (s) before the race starts. A horse may be claimed for its entered price by a licensed horse owner others. This is done by a racing secretary. Once the race is over and a horse was claimed, "the ownership of the horse is then transferred to its new owners. A claiming race rules equalizes running as an owner should not enter a horse that deserves greater value if the horse can be claimed with low value.

When a disability claiming race, I have said is important to review past performance, jockey and track conditions. Is the horse prefers a dry track to wet? Was the jockey goes well with the horse?

Another type of race is the race of girl. Is the least favorite handicappers. A maiden race is composed of horses that have never won a race.

Last but not least is the race of the allocation. The allowance race is where the disabled Track (Track Secretary) determine the conditions and type of horses that can be entered in the race.

The handicappers have had the pleasure of spending the day with urge: "Gather information, rely heavily on the performance of a horse, learn about the best jocks and trainers, and always refer to the Daily Racing Form. Oh yeah, and have the courage to put your money on the nose. "
