Cry, The Beloved Country

I need a song that refers to a scene, character or theme of Cry the Beloved Country by Alan Paton. Suggestions?

The book was written during a period of rising racial tensions and social inequality between blacks and whites in South Africa just before the era of apartheid began the year it was published, and the emotions that surround eruption was an important part of history.

So, I recommend a song about the days of apartheid and racial tension as "Silver and Gold" by U2. The protest song against apartheid "Weeping" also "Cry the Beloved Country".

TI ft. Justin Timberlake-Dead And Gone --- This song describes the feeling that went through the head after Absalom killed a man. Now he goes to prison and is basically "Dead and Gone" and he has no future. He was to marry his wife in prison because he knows he will never leave. Flag
