Well, I'm a shaman, but my mother is a medium and my sister is a channeler (I think) but I wonder what is the difference?

Shaman connects the two domains of life. A channeler, channeling the energy (if that's the kind of which you speak channeler), and a way to create a connection between the world of the living and the dead.
