I guess wasn'tr Wiseman wise enough to take into account that you are in the United Kingdom and the shipping issue. (Never mind the fact that Newegg does not ship internatioanlly) I'd go for the WD to Buffalo any time. During the Eagle that Wiseman suggested. I'll assume that you care you put files on it so why go with the players who are not near the top of the charts MTBF as WD or Seagate? (MTBF = Mean Time Between Failure) All other drive makers are well behind these two.
Why on earth would you buy one or the other? They are both quite expensive for their size.
