The Black Keys is an American musical duo composed of blues-rock singer / guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer / producer Patrick Carney. Black Keys have been trained in Akron, Ohio in 2001. The group is often compared to The White Stripes (also a duet blues-based music of drums and vocals / guitar began at the turn of the millennium) and the styles of Jimi Hendrix Experience. "Some of the things we ended up recording sounds like Screamin 'Jay Hawkins," said Carney Flaunt magazine, in April 2008. Ultimately Attack & Release, their fifth album, was produced by Danger Mouse and released on 1 April 2008, after fleeing to the Internet by March 4.

Black Keys released her first album, The Big Come Up, in 2002, followed by Thickfreakness in 2003, and Rubber Factory in 2004. In 2006, Black Keys released their fourth album, Magic Potion on September 4, 2006 in the UK and September 12, 2006 in USA. The Black Keys has also announced a new album to be released May 18, 2010 at the publication of Blakroc. It is titled "Brothers" and lists 15 pieces.
