She played the role of Agnes Lowzier in the big sleep, and it appears only in seven films from 1941 to 1950.

It is difficult for me to think that an actress visible (especially as it was in the Big Sleep) in as good a small role (again, like Agnes in The Big Sleep) about which so little is known (see his IMDB listing.) Even a Google search directly returns only the addition of a couple of his descriptions, and IMDB, the single reference record that she had attended a pro-Israel rally in 1945 Hollywood . No less than David Thomson asked the question before I did: "What happened to Sonia Darrin, who played Agnes?" I'm sensing a name with a pseudonym.
