What is appropriate behavior at a hair salon or hairdresser? I need a haircut and of course, I would like to look good epilogues. The problem is, I have no idea what to ask the hairdresser (is this the right term or is this barber) to do for me. Is it allowed to simply ask the stylist to "make me" right? The way I figure, the headdress is a kind of art form, which gives a designer the opportunity to try something cool. Then again, someone else said it would be a tough thing to do because it facilitates the work of the stylist is more difficult. Any help?
and it is not impolite to say "make me look good", but will put a lot of pressure on the designer, for they know not what you think looks cool, do not say that because this could disrupt the stylist. but just ask exactly how you want your hair cut, maybe see some pictures of different hairstyles online and pick one you like and do what you say to try do that. simply describe what you think would look good on you.
and if you do not really know what you want to ask your styleist what they feel good about yourself and work from there.
